To welcome the return we have a guest all the way from house and techno's spiritual home Ibiza and from LO-FI friend Mike Boorman.

Mike is a resident at the legendary Hotel La Torre and has a radio show on Mambo FM.
​
Always an eclectic individual mike revels in bringing psychedelia, downbeat and Balearic to peoples as ears as much as he loves making people sweat on the dance floor.

His own productions walk the weird and melodic line and this shines through on the mix.

In his own words.
“I’ve built this mix around the phrase 'strange atmosphere’ - I think those two words encapsulate the music I like the most across different genres.

 

I love the ambiance and live instrumentation from people like Be Svendsen and Satori but I’m also into the big synths you’d hear in old-school prog and cosmic, so I’m bringing all that together in this mix, with a couple of old wildcards thrown in for good measure. The intensity just builds and builds!”
